chapter 18-19

The lessons from the whale and wolf dance that Cole has learned was that because the whales do not have a home he is like them, and they constantly are moving around place to place. So that is why i think Cole should be determined to find a home and keep it and no longer be a loner. The thing that Cole has learned from the wolf dance was that he needed help from other people and that he needs to stop acting like he can do everything with out an ounce of help from others because everybody needs help every now and again.

chapter 9-10

what Cole has learned from the baby birds were that life was very valuable and he didn't want to die. Cole was as helpless and fragile as the baby birds and has been his whole life. the baby birds did not have a choice to live or die when they feel out of the tree but Cole did and he was going to take advantage of his opportunity and try his hardest to live for as long as possible.
